Reinette Apple Snack

As maçãs Reineta são maçãs tipicamente acastanhadas, sendo originárias de França. Reconhecidas pelo seu sabor rústico, aromático e sweet & sour, são muito apreciadas na culinária. Em Portugal, estão entre as variedades cultivadas na região Oeste – as variedades que utilizamos para este snack são a Reineta Parda e a Reineta Branca. Toda a fruta que utilizamos é produzida por fruticultores da região. Caso esteja interessado, pode verificar quem produziu a fruta em cada embalagem.

Production process

Our snacks are easy to make, but the process is time-consuming.

We start by slicing the fruit and placing it in specially designed solar drying chambers, which is more environmentally friendly than drying the fruit in ovens. This method allows the fruit to preserve the fresh fruit flavor, a unique characteristic of our snacks.

As the fruit dries, its flavor intensifies, resulting in naturally sweet snacks without the addition of sugar.

The drying process takes about 3 days, depending on the weather. After drying, the fruit is packaged.
